The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for a Lead Product Manager to join the Data and Analytics Services (DAS) Team. We empower the Federal Reserve business functions with top-grade data driven insights, enabling them to leverage data as a strategic asset by employing modern cloud data and analytical solutions including AI/ML & GenAI. Responsibilities:
- Relationship management with district and System collaborators across technical and business
- Educate and influence system partners to adopt and implement modern data strategy, data governance, data policy, Data Mesh architecture and technologies, processes as appropriate
- Shape product vision, strategy and roadmaps aligning to business goals collaborating with business collaborators to deliver incremental and continuous business value
- Define product requirements as features, user stories with the quality and performance criteria
- Partner with solution architect to craft solutions and to identify platform and infrastructure level technical dependencies
- Lead end-to-end Agile product development collaborating with cross-functional resources, which includes data product owners, data engineers, AI engineers, DevSecOps and platform resources
- Compile and provide required information for InfoSec risk and Audit assessments to coordinate reviews, approvals and to mitigate risks/observations
- Responsible for product status reporting, risk management, communications
- Assist in refining product management processes as well mentoring other product managers
- High level understanding of AI/ML/GenAI from a product management perspective
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Lead Product Manager typically requires 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least five years of Product Management experience
- Sr. Product Manager typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience as an Agile Product Manager launching products from concept to launch in a complex environment, preferably in the data space
- Strong thought leadership to identify innovative use cases, with an ability to influence collaborators and the ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to deliver solutions
- Solid data background along with good understanding plus experience working in a Cloud data engineering (AWS or multi-Cloud preferred), distributed data processing environment
- Understanding/appreciation for Information Security, compliance and processes
- Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S Citizen
Base Salary Range Sr. Product Manager: Min: $138,900 - Mid: $180,400 - Max: $221,900 (Location: San Francisco)
Base Salary Range Lead Product Manager: Min: $155,700 - Mid: $202,200 - Max: $248,700 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
