📐 About this role

This is a chance to help shape the next chapter of WRITER's product at a moment when generative AI is redefining how work gets done. As Lead product manager, you'll operate as a force-multiplier across the product organization — setting direction where it's unclear, aligning stakeholders, and making sure our most critical initiatives ship with excellence.

You'll own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces that span multiple product areas and teams, and you'll be equal parts strategist and operator. One moment you're shaping a multi-quarter roadmap; the next you're rolling up your sleeves to unblock execution. We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer empathy, technical depth, and business judgment — and who is energized by turning complex, evolving AI capabilities into products customers love.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and problem definition through launch, adoption, and iteration across areas that span multiple squads and surfaces

  • Shape product strategy and roadmap in partnership with product leadership, translating company-level goals into clear, sequenced, ambitious bets

  • Spend time with enterprise buyers, end users, and prospects to uncover unmet needs, validate problem-solution fit, and champion the customer voice in every decision

  • Partner closely with engineering and design to define requirements, navigate technical tradeoffs, and build the right things in the right order, bringing real fluency to conversations about LLMs, agents, platform architecture, and data

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across go-to-market, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership, communicating strategy and tradeoffs with crisp, audience-appropriate narrative

  • Define and own success metrics for your areas, using data and qualitative signal to evaluate impact, course-correct, and tell the story of outcomes to leadership

  • Raise the bar on product craft across the org by mentoring and coaching other PMs, modeling best practices, and strengthening a culture built on rigor, customer obsession, and velocity

⭐️ Is this you?

  • 8+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning and shipping complex, high-impact products, ideally in SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML-driven environments

  • Senior- or staff-level experience operating autonomously across ambiguous, multi-team problem spaces and influencing outcomes well beyond your immediate team

  • Genuine customer obsession — you instinctively go to the customer, synthesize signal from noise, and design from a deep understanding of real workflows and pain points

  • Technical credibility to engage meaningfully with engineers and researchers on system design, LLM capabilities, data, and architecture, knowing when to go deep and when to defer to the experts

  • A blend of strong strategic thinking and relentless execution — you can set a compelling vision one moment and sweat the details of a release plan the next

  • Exceptional communication that you tailor for any audience, from a frontline engineer to the executive team, driving alignment without relying on org chart authority

  • A mentor's instinct and a builder's drive, with the data-informed, outcome-driven mindset to define success up front and move with the speed this environment demands

Nice to haves

  • Experience building products powered by LLMs, generative AI, or large-scale AI/ML systems

  • Background in enterprise software, developer platforms, or developer-facing products

  • Familiarity with AI governance, guardrails, and the operational considerations of deploying AI in regulated or high-stakes environments

🍩 Benefits & perks (UK full-time employees):

  • Generous PTO, plus company holidays

  • Comprehensive medical and dental insurance

  • Paid parental leave for all parents (16 weeks)

  • Fertility and family planning support

  • Competitive pension scheme and company contribution

  • Annual work-life stipends for:

    • Wellness stipend for gym, massage/chiropractor, personal training, etc.

    • Learning and development stipend

  • Company-wide off-sites and team off-sites

  • Competitive compensation and company stock options

Skills Required

  • 8+ years of product management experience shipping complex, high-impact products
  • Senior- or staff-level experience operating autonomously across ambiguous, multi-team problem spaces
  • Experience in SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML-driven environments
  • Strong customer discovery and customer advocacy skills
  • Technical credibility engaging with system design, LLM capabilities, data, and architecture
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional influence
  • Ability to mentor and coach product managers
  • Experience building products powered by LLMs, generative AI, or large-scale AI/ML systems
  • Background in enterprise software, developer platforms, or developer-facing products
  • Familiarity with AI governance, guardrails, and deploying AI in regulated or high-stakes environments
