Your Mission:

As a Lead Product Manager for Player Engagement, you will work closely with our design team to build game features that address player needs, providing the best game experiences in the world for both new and current Diablo players. This person has a sharp sense of the ARPG gaming market and a strong intuitive sense of what Diablo players want because they are players themselves. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

 

What you bring to the table: 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with design leadership in the development of game features by establishing clear goals and a focus on our players to ensure high-quality execution

  • Lead the development of reports and analysis surrounding engagement KPI’s to share with development stakeholders and executive leadership highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement

  • Exhibit sound product judgment to influence the Diablo game roadmap

  • Gather and analyze player feedback, in-game player data, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements and optimize engagement experiences

  • Translate strategy into a set of clear measurable objectives tied to franchise goals, and demonstrate how initiatives impact key business metrics 

  • Work closely with User Research and Consumer Insights to prioritize playtests, focus groups and surveys to validate design decisions and gather player insights

Minimum requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management within the gaming industry, preferably with a focus on core gameplay or engagement.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with video game insights or design to drive business decisions

  • Experience working in a cross functional team, working specifically across analytics and game development teams

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Attributes

  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and find creative ways to get things done

  • Passionate, self-motivated, and driven to create and execute great ideas cross-functionally

  • A love for ARPGs and creating fun & compelling player experiences

Extra Points

  • Business, quantitative, technical, or design degree a plus

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $105,120.00 - $194,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
