This is not a traditional maintenance role. We need a builder-leader to own the end-to-end lifecycle of a mobile-first ecosystem. You will act as a strategic architect, bridging the gap between a "0-to-1" startup mindset and the massive scale of WEX’s global infrastructure. Your mission is to simplify the lives of independent transportation professionals through disruptive, intuitive financial solutions.
About the Role & Strategic ImpactAs a Sr. PM, you are an emerging strategic leader within the Digital organization. You will spearhead the creation of a unified, world-class experience that handles everything from instant fuel savings to complex credit products. This role requires a high degree of business acumen and the ability to influence senior leadership to shape the future of our OTR digital footprint.
How You’ll Make an ImpactStrategic Product Leadership
Own the Vision: Set the multi-year strategy for a major product area within the 10-4 portfolio, ensuring alignment with WEX’s broader corporate growth goals.
Business Model Innovation: Move beyond "features" to develop robust business models. You will define how 10-4 wins in the market, manages P&L outcomes, and creates sustainable competitive advantages.
Trusted Advisor: Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, identifying emerging market trends in mobility and fintech to pivot our roadmap ahead of the competition.
Own the tech: deeply understand and integrate application growth metrics and core architectural decisions into the product, APIs and SDKs.
Execution, Data & 0-1 Building
Scale the MVP: Lead the transition of 0-1 initiatives (e.g., new credit offerings, loyalty engines, or merchant integrations) into scalable, high-performing features used by thousands of drivers daily.
Insights-Driven Prioritization: Use a mix of deep customer empathy (qualitative) and rigorous data analysis (quantitative) to define experiments and kill underperforming initiatives quickly.
Lead Scrum Excellence: Direct 1–2 high-performing scrum teams, partnering with senior engineers to solve complex technical hurdles in payment processing and mobile UX.
Cross-Functional Influence & Partnership
Build Bridges: Navigate a matrixed environment to align Risk, Legal, Finance, and GTM teams around a singular consumer-first mission.
Disruptive Research: Collaborate with UX and Analytics to conduct deep-dive research that challenges the status quo and leads to disruptive solutions for the trucking industry.
Articulate Value: Present effectively to C-suite and high-level stakeholders, translating technical milestones into business value and customer impact.
Strategic "Lead" experience: Significant experience in a Senior or Lead PM role, ideally within a high-growth consumer fintech, mobile-first marketplace, or logistics tech environment.
0-to-1 & Scaling Mastery: A proven track record of taking a product from concept to launch and then scaling it to a significant user base.
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of unit economics, P&L management, and the mechanics of consumer financial products (credit, payments, or rewards).
Technical Savvy: Ability to collaborate with senior engineering talent on mobile architecture, API strategy, and data pipelines.
Soft Skills, Hard Results: A learning mindset with the ability to influence without authority, fostering a culture of transparency and high-velocity delivery.
