Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Insight Generation

• Collect and Analyze Data:

  • Gather data from various sources including Daas, Jira systems, market reports, and manual product reports

  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.

  • SQL (required)

• Develop Actionable Insights:

  • Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Present findings in a user-friendly format, including reports, dashboards, and presentations.

  • Data storytelling

• Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and evaluate performance against key metrics and objectives.

  • Identify areas of improvement and success, and provide recommendations for enhancement.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop data-driven strategies and plans.

  • Contribute to setting targets, forecasting, and budget planning based on insights derived from data analysis.

• Execution Support:

  • Provide guidance and support to the team on implementing strategies and achieving targets.

  • Ensure insights are integrated into product processes and practices to drive effective decision-making.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales insights team, product, product success,  growth marketing, strategy, leadership, data engineering, business intelligence teams and finance teams to ensure a holistic approach to insights.

  • Coordinate with business analytics and data management teams to ensure data accessibility and quality.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for data insights and reporting.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure understanding and alignment of insights and strategies.

4. Tools and Technology Management:

• Analytics Tools:

  • Use of Daas, Jira systems and other tools to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

  • Requirements: SQL, Dashboarding, Excel

QUALIFICATIONS

● At least 2-3 years’ work experience in a data analyst / insights role, preferably in Fintech or similar industries

● Preferably a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or any related field

● Highly organized and attention to detail

● Proven track record of driving performance through data-driven insights

● Familiarity with data analytics tools

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

● Analytical skills:

• Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and identify actionable insights
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Google Looker Studio, or any other dashboarding tool is a must.

● Communication Skills

• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

● Problem Solving Skills / Data Storytelling

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
• Ability to think strategically and align insights with business objectives

● Project Management

• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
