Lead, Product Development Engineering
Entegris is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Product Development Engineering role for our Dispense Systems product line. Our dispense systems are a critical process solution enabling the most advanced semiconductor photolithography including artificial intelligence processers and leading edge logic and memory applications.
We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with expertise in electromechanical systems, software, and controls. This role will be responsible for leading the development of next generation Dispense Systems from conception through commercialization. The candidate should be familiar and comfortable with stage-gate approach for Technology Development and New Product Introduction as well as design, documentation, and layout product formats to satisfy the requirements, and support improvement initiatives of existing and new products.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
Design and Development: Conceptualize, design, and develop new dispense systems, focusing on the integration of software and mechanical components. Lead DFMEA, PFMEA, and Design for Manufacturing and Six Sigma activities for assigned products.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including OEM customer engineers, software engineers, electrical engineers, operations, and product managers, to develop integrated solutions that meet technical and commercial requirements and timelines
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
Technical Support: Assist in performing root cause analysis on quality issues on new and existing products
Key Skills and Qualifications
Leadership: Proven experience independently leading product development programs, with direct or indirect reports. Demonstrated ability to drive accountability to key team members across multi-functional groups to execute complex projects in defined timeline
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, and 8+ years of directly related experience is required
Experience: Proven experience in designing and developing electromechanical systems, technical problem solving of complex systems, and successful new product launches. Knowledge in semiconductor equipment controls, metrology and other equipment desired
Technical Proficiency: Applied knowledge of software controls, mechanical system interactions, and pressure and position sensors, including experience with CAD software and simulation tools
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. English proficiency required.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
