Job Description

Are you an experienced producer looking for your next step: ready to lead projects, manage external partners, and take greater responsibility for delivery—while still being hands-on in the production process?

We’re looking for a Lead Producer (Parental Cover) to join our digital games team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced producer who’s ready to take on more ownership and coordination responsibility while staying close to the day-to-day production process!
Core Responsibilities

As Lead Producer you help bring the LEGO brand to life through high-quality, family-friendly games. You’ll guide production across a portfolio of externally developed titles, ensuring projects run smoothly, stay aligned with LEGO values, and deliver fun, safe experiences for kids and families. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead the production of licensed games developed by external studios, from concept through launch and live updates.

  • Manage schedules, reviews, and achievements while keeping communication clear across internal teams and partners.

  • Act as a senior point of contact with developers, licensors, and internal partners, ensuring priorities are understood and delivered.

  • Safeguard LEGO brand values in all game content—making sure our titles are fun, age-appropriate, and innovative.

  • Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior producers or coordinators.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, publishing, and product teams on positioning, go-to-market, and live ops strategies.

  • Proactively spot risks and find solutions to keep development on track.

Play your part in our team succeeding

The LEGO® GAME team is responsible for all game products across the company. It is our ambition to demonstrate that games based on the LEGO® Idea can be the most fun, creative and collaborative, while being safe. Developed for everyone and loved by children.

You will join the LEGO GAME team and work cross-functionally towards delivering value-added products across games to children and families around the world.

Please note: This is a position based in Billund or Copenhagen, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role!
Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in a production or publishing role in games, ideally with experience shipping at least one title.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills—you know how to align multiple teams and keep projects moving.

  • Hands-on experience working with external development partners.

  • A clear sense of what makes games engaging and appropriate for kids.

  • Comfortable balancing creative ambition with production realities and deadlines.

  • Passion for working with licensed IP and navigating feedback loops with licensors/brand partners.

Additional qualifications we would also look for

  • Experience with free-to-play mobile games and/or live ops.

  • Experience shipping console or PC titles, especially in AA/AAA settings.

  • Familiarity with compliance/regulations for kids (COPPA, GDPR-K, ESRB, PEGI).

  • Knowledge of production tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.

  • Exposure to toy, animation, or family entertainment brands.
