 Job Title: Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer – Offshore Island Project

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer for an Offshore Island Project to be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi.

Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer – ADNOC Offshore Project

Role Summary

The Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer is responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, and cost control activities for major ADNOC Offshore oil & gas projects. The position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and baseline plans.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting activities.
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Perform Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule variance, and cost variance analysis.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation measures.
  • Manage baseline change control and support risk management processes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment of project milestones.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports highlighting project performance, forecasts, and recovery plans.
  • Support contractual and commercial matters to protect company interests. Typical Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 18–20+ years of experience in planning and cost control within the oil & gas industry.
  • Extensive experience on offshore EPC, PMC, or ADNOC projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control systems.
  • Strong understanding of cost forecasting, budgeting, and earned value techniques.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project controls teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
