We are seeking a safety-focused and results-driven Hot Mix Asphalt Lead Person to support daily plant operations, coordinate production activities, and help ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality asphalt products. This role serves as a key operational leader, promoting safety, quality, and teamwork while supporting plant performance goals.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead and coordinate daily asphalt plant operations to support safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing.
- Monitor production processes and plant performance to maintain product quality and operational excellence.
- Support and direct plant personnel to achieve production schedules and operational objectives.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate teams in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt plant operations, equipment, and production processes.
- Ability to identify operational issues, make sound decisions, and resolve problems effectively.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and comply with all company safety requirements.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $32-36 per hour.
