Guitar Center Distribution is seeking a team lead to oversee our Receiving Dock team in the receiving department. 
Compensation: Starting at $21.50 per hour.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
 
  • Performs department operational tasks assigned by Supervisor, such as shipping, receiving, etc.
  • Monitors and assists associates to ensure certain procedures are being followed.
  • Guides daily work processes to ensure the efficient and effective completion of assignments.
  • Trains associates on department tasks.
  • Ensures reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Organizes the warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
  • Ensures compliance to safety operational guidelines, including individual work area and department
  • Additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
  • Coaching: Able to provide effective coaching, feedback, and guidance to others.
  • Collaboration: Able to develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in and leading groups, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties. Able to build relationships with others by offering help and providing suggestions for improvement.
  • Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles and the importance of providing an excellent customer experience. Keeps customers in mind when designing or executing processes or procedures.

Skills Required
