The Role:
This role will serve as a Lead Front-line Operator and aid in the coordination work across the factory’s 24/7 compressed shifts. Lead Operations Associates are responsible for the direction and oversight of the day-to-day activities within their assigned module. A Lead Operations Associate participates in problem solving, operator engagement and addressing issues on the production floor. Lead Operations Associates must be able to perform all Operations Associate duties as required (see Operations Associate job description). As a Lead Operations Associate you will be the first point of contact for your team and escalate all queries to the Production Supervisor when necessary. Lead Operations Associate monitor operations processes, and inspect for quality issues, nonconformities, and equipment concerns. Also, they may serve as mentors/trainers for the new Operators.
What You’ll Do:

Leads, coaches, and provides effective feedback.

Oversees and coordinates aspects of the production area workflow (i.e. people, products, and materials) to meet Master Schedule requirements.

Coordinates work assignments within the production department that includes training, technical support and/or process/trouble shooting support.

Works with internal resources to resolve problems.

Is the Process Subject Matter Expert SME and represents production on projects when needed and have good understanding of all other modules in the factory.

Ensure all manufacturing activities are covered by valid and accurate Documentation /Routings

Ensures adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and environmental health and safety requirements.

Provides input into procedures as required.

Contributes to operator associate evaluations.

Facilitates and leads group meetings.

Interfaces and coordinates with support departments.

Assists employees in resolving conflicts.
Required:
-
Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience.

Have proficiency in windows-based computer applications.

Ability to read and write in the English language. Reading specs and following work instructions.
