Lead Network Engineer will be responsible for the Stability of Network Environment and will be involved and provide feedback on Major Engineering projects with in DCNS, As Lead Network Engineer need work with Different Business Units and provide a Network Solution to better Application Experience

The Purpose of This Role

The Datacenter Core Network Services (DCNS) group within Fidelity Business Services India Pvt Limited supports Fidelity’s, Load Balancers, Vordel , ARH,  Internet/ Extranet Connectivity, IPS and other network security infrastructure.  Our mission is to provide reliable and stable infrastructure via standards, best practices, simplified support models, automated processes, operational excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction. As per Business needs Shifts and Holiday requirements will change.

The Value You Deliver

As a Lead Network Engineer in DCNS team on various programs and projects being run at leadership level. In this role, the lead works in collaboration with team to:

·       Deploy and Manage Proxy related network changes.

·       Deploy F5 Configs related to Proxy Infrastructure.

·       Deploy and Manage Vordel Infrastructure

·       Automation using Python and Ansible

·       Experience in Zscaler and Broadcom Proxies

·       Knowledge on ITSM best practices

·       Knowledge on Observability Tools like data dog.

·       IP Administration

·       Support 3rd Level Engineering Problem Escalation

·       Certification and testing of new applications and upgrades

·       Engineering and recommendation of new products and technologies

·       Configure Monitoring solutions to Increase Stability to the Environment

·       Collaborate with Teams and Test new solutions to improve Customer Experience.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical /  Behavioral

·       Require good understanding of  TCP/IP, IP subnet

·       Should have working experience in handling change and incidents.

·       Knowledge of basic Unix commands is a must.

·       F5 Devices LTM devices

·       Proxy Knowledge – Zscaler and Broadcom Proxies

·       Knowledge on Vordel, Plug proxies..

·       Knowledge on Observability

·       Automation Skills, Python and Ansible

·       Infoblox and Bind Server Management

·       Should be familiar with the firewall concepts

·       Hands on experience on firewall Technologies (Checkpoint, Juniper) would be added advantage

·       Understanding of Routing and  Switching

·       Experience  handling global customers an added advantage .

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

·       Expertise on Tableau, advanced excels and PowerPoint.

·       Communication and presentation skills as the role requires to give frequent update to SLT.

DCNS Manages all Network Devices for Fidelity and as Lead Network Engineer have to work with all Business Units of Fidelity to provide solutions for Better Application Experience. DCNS Team Manages all the Connectivity, Domain Management, Load balancing solutions and also providing Network Security for Fidelity Environments.

·       Zscaler, Broadcom,F5, AVI, Infoblox

Location : Bangalore - Manyata/EGL / Chennai

Shift timings  : 2:00 PM IST – 11:00 PM IST
