Role Value Proposition:
The Lead Multimedia Engineer within the End User Technology team reports to the Manager, Multimedia Services and supports all multimedia technology within MetLife's global portfolio. The role is responsible for the implementation, engineering, and administration duties related to our Conference Room Technology, Collaboration Services, Digital Signage and IPTV. The candidate will participate in business process automation planning, troubleshoot issues, and document processes and procedures. This position will be based out of our Cary, NC location with travel to other global MetLife locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, propose, and implement conference room technology based on current standards and business requirements.
- Facilitate the configuration and troubleshooting of multimedia applications, endpoints and conference room related technology (including but not limited to control systems, IPTV distribution, digital signage, infrastructure technology, and various audio and video conferencing components).
- Oversee troubleshooting and follow through on escalation of issues.
- Leverage Crestron Fusion for room monitoring and scheduling as well as Webex Control Hub for troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems including detailed systems documentation, release notes, user instructions, and procedures
- Stay current with industry trends, new technology releases, and changes.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and administering infrastructure including servers and network.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and administering Cisco Conferencing solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and administering IPTV and Digital Signage platforms.
- Infrastructure including network and server (Windows & Linux), Cisco networking and Firewall.
- Experience with conference room control systems, Crestron systems experience, Extron.
- Endpoints Performance Monitoring platform experience.
- Must have experience with Live production technologies and White Glove services for Executive level audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps.
- PowerBI Report Generation.
- PowerShell experience.
- Proficiency with Azure AD, Active Directory, and LDAP.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industries is a plus.
