We are seeking an experienced Media Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of the Media Operations team, ensuring efficient execution of media processing workflows while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for leading a team of Media Operators, managing production capacity, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic initiatives that improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.
Team Leadership & Performance Management- Lead, coach, and manage a team of approximately of Media Operators working across multiple shifts.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to provide coaching, feedback, and performance support.
- Develop and implement individual development plans (IDPs) for each team member.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, and operational KPIs.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Manage workforce planning, shift coverage, leave scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Perform capacity planning to optimize resources and meet production demands.
- Prepare production reports, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with the Traffic team to prioritize, assign, and monitor daily production tasks.
- Ensure operational processes are followed while maintaining quality standards and SLAs.
- Lead transition projects including system migrations and workflow enhancement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Support implementation of new tools, systems, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards, security policies, and operational procedures.
- Support issue resolution and escalation management.
- Promote continuous improvement across the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in media operations or post-production.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of digital media workflows, video/audio assets, metadata, artwork, and subtitle processing.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, and production reporting.
- Experience leading operational improvement and transition projects.
- Good written and spoken English.
