As an Lead Mask/Layout Design Tech (electrical designer) here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Instrumentation, electrical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical
engineering solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Electrical Eng Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Pune, Maharashtra location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact on the company’s ability to innovate and deliver reliable
electrical systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- To Work on design/Drafting of Control System Architecture, PLC/MMS Panel, Junction Box, LOP etc.
- Design / selection of electrical components, accessories required in PLC/MMS, Junction box and Local control Panels.
- To Prepare Wiring Schematic for PLC/MMS Panel, Junction Box, LOP,
- Prepare the Bill of Material for Panels, JB, LOP
- Drafting of Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s)
- To work on different documents as per project requirement such as P&ID, Interconnection Drawing, cable schedule, IO list , Loop Wiring drawing
- Effectively plan, schedule, manage & report on multiple projects with various deadlines & responsibilities levels.
- Communicate with global internal clients for input information and project status
- Occasional visit to Site or Customer office, FAT support at Vendor’s place
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation / electrical / electronic engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Instrumentation / electrical engineering design.
- Strong Knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical, Library symbols and standard drawing creation
- Must have worked on design of PLC Panels, junction Boxes , LCP/LOP
- Must have worked on development/drafting of Wiring/Schematic, Equipment Layout
- Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel with ease.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in instrumentation, electrical, or electronic engineering
- 5+ years of experience in instrumentation or electrical engineering design
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Mechanical, library symbols, and standard drawing creation
- Experience designing PLC panels, junction boxes, and local control panels
- Experience developing or drafting wiring schematics and equipment layouts
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel effectively
- Experience developing P&IDs and knowledge of P&ID symbols
- Knowledge of Engineering Base software and MS Visio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
