Experienced Mainframe professional with 7-10 yrs of experience in PL1, COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS, DB2, VSAM.
PL1 and IMS are a must.
Strong analytical skills and hands-on development experience in the above areas.
Good communication skills
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions. Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.
