The team:
The positions are located in Manila, Philippines where we are expanding our Procurement and Vendor Management teams. You will be part of Group Advisory and Support, where Group Procurement is organized. You will be involved in our initiatives and dynamics. We are recognized throughout the organization for our skills, service mindedness and outcomes.
You will collaborate as a trusted business partner with multiple functions. Support us in strategic projects and offer high-quality Sourcing and Contract Management.

What you will be responsible for:
- Develop and refine Category Management strategy for your category
- Support ongoing activities to mature the procurement function.
- Establish close relations and collaborate with different levels of specialists, Functional Managers and Business Units
- Identify saving and optimization opportunities and projects, working closely with our parent company in some cases
- Lead procurement projects and deliver business value
- Deliver relevant advice and provide service to stakeholders
- Keep up to date knowledge of the supply market in main sub-categories, hereunder cost drivers, variables and business models
- Manage supplier portfolio and relations to key suppliers
- Contribute to team collaboration and overall customer satisfaction
- Analyze business processes and take initiatives to productivity improvements
What we value:
- A relevant degree is required
- Minimum 8 years' procurement and Category Management experience with significant experience in the category for which you are applying
- Comprehensive business understanding from technology driven industries
- Relevant experience in sourcing of goods and services in the IT or Professional Services category
- Experience with legal and compliance topics related to procurement
- Established experience with completed complex procurement projects
- Ability to represent SimCorp as an attractive partner to externals
- Strategic and tactical toolbox to manage both competitive and monopolistic situations

- Structured, willing to initiate ideas, and with focus
- Carry out analysis and communicate in English
- Take action on initiatives, address and propose improvements
- Ability to summarize and communicate complex and detailed matters
- With a sense of execution and service delivery
