Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Lead Internal Auditor to join our ever evolving Audit Services Team within Global Payments Europe s.r.o. and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
- Lead and execute end-to-end audits, including planning, risk assessment, control identification, fieldwork, testing, and reporting
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT and business process controls, including IT general controls and automated controls
- Analyze audit findings, identify root causes, and recommend practical, risk-mitigating solutions
- Review audit documentation to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to internal standards and timelines
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the continuous improvement of Internal Audit practices
What you’ll bring
- 5–10 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, or risk management within a corporate or consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of IT controls, including access management, change management, IT operations, and information security
- Experience with internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC 1/SOC 2) and financial reporting processes
- Proven ability to manage audit projects independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to different audiences
- Strong English communication skills (B2-C1)
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or financial services industry
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CPA, or similar
- Background in Big Four or large-scale internal audit environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or a related field
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10–15%)
