As a Senior Account Manager for Inside Sales supporting our Public Sector and Government customers you are responsible for managing and growing existing business relationships with key clients within a designated territory, primarily through phone and virtual interactions, by understanding their needs, proactively presenting Verizon's suite of wireless, mobility, cloud, and security solutions, and closing deals to achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer loyalty and satisfaction; requiring a deep understanding of Verizon's product portfolio, proven sales expertise, and the ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers within client government organizations.
What we’re looking for...
Account Management skills - actively managing a portfolio of assigned business government accounts, identifying potential growth opportunities, and driving incremental revenue through upselling and cross-selling Verizon products and services.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience are required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Previous outside/inside sales experience selling to Public Sector customers
Contract negotiation experience
Strong understanding of business needs and ability to articulate how Verizon solutions can address them
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients
Proficient in CRM systems and sales automation tools
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented approach
