Job Title: Lead Identity Engineer – Okta
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Hudson Yards, New York
Job Description:
Simeio is seeking a skilled Lead Identity Engineer with deep expertise in Okta to join our growing team. This role requires hands-on experience with Okta Identity Engine (OIE), SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, and Okta FastPass, as well as integration with Microsoft Intune. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of Active Directory and demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure identity and access management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and support of Okta solutions using OIE with a focus on SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management
- Implement and manage integrations using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and SCIM protocols
- Configure and support Okta FastPass in conjunction with Intune for seamless, passwordless access
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate Okta with existing systems including Active Directory
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Troubleshoot identity-related issues and drive root cause analysis
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on identity engineering experience
- Deep expertise in Okta, including OIE, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, and FastPass
- Experience integrating Okta with Microsoft Intune
- Solid understanding of Active Directory and enterprise IAM practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
