Position OverviewThe Retail Associate is responsible for engaging homeowners at retail locations, educating them about the benefits of residential solar energy, and scheduling qualified homeowners for in-home consultations with our Solar Consultants.
This is a customer-facing position designed for outgoing, energetic individuals who enjoy speaking with people and creating opportunities through meaningful conversations. Success is measured by generating high-quality appointments that result in completed in-home demonstrations and ultimately help homeowners save money through solar.
Responsibilities- Engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar.
- Qualify homeowners based on company guidelines.
- Schedule qualified homeowners for free in-home solar consultations.
- Maintain a positive and professional representation of the company.
- Accurately record appointments and customer information.
- Consistently achieve appointment and performance goals.
- Typical schedule:
- 9 am-5 pm OR
- 1 pm-9 pm
- Required to work Friday-Sunday.
Retail Associates earn commissions based on completed sales generated from appointments they originate.
