Job Description:
About the RoleWe're seeking a Lead Functional Architect with deep Adobe Workfront expertise to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise work management solutions for global clients. This role sits at the intersection of consulting, solution architecture, and delivery leadership, helping organizations transform complex business and operational processes into scalable Workfront solutions.
This is not an administrator role and it is not a pure technical development position. We're looking for an experienced architect who can lead discovery efforts, design enterprise-scale Workfront ecosystems, advise senior stakeholders, and guide implementation teams from strategy through execution.
The ideal candidate understands how Adobe Workfront Core, Planning, and Fusion work together to support enterprise operating models and can confidently translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges, requirements, and goals.
- Design end-to-end Adobe Workfront solutions that align people, process, governance, and technology.
- Architect enterprise work management frameworks utilizing Workfront Core, Workfront Planning, and Workfront Fusion.
- Create scalable operating models, governance structures, intake processes, approval workflows, reporting frameworks, and portfolio management solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional designs and implementation roadmaps.
- Present solution recommendations and architectural approaches to client leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Evaluate platform capabilities, constraints, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Partner closely with implementation teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout delivery.
- Provide guidance around automation strategy, integration opportunities, and Workfront Fusion capabilities.
- Define best practices for workspace configuration, custom forms, request queues, workflow design, reporting, resource management, and governance.
- Participate in client-facing workshops, design reviews, demonstrations, and solution presentations.
- Mentor consultants and implementation resources on Workfront architecture best practices.
- Contribute to solution accelerators, delivery methodologies, and capability development initiatives.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Workfront or enterprise work management platforms.
- Proven expertise with Adobe Workfront Core.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Workfront solutions.
- Strong understanding of Workfront governance models, intake processes, workflows, reporting, resource management, and project operations.
- Experience leading discovery sessions and translating business requirements into solution designs.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience presenting complex solution architectures to leadership and client teams.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment.
- Experience developing architecture documentation, process flows, design specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise with Adobe Workfront Planning.
- Experience designing automation strategies using Adobe Workfront Fusion.
- Adobe Workfront certifications.
- Experience with enterprise governance and operating model transformations.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and connected enterprise ecosystems.
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Background in marketing operations, project management offices (PMO), business operations, or work management transformation.
- Experience mentoring consultants, architects, or delivery teams.
- Previous experience in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment.
What Success Looks Like
- Clients successfully adopt scalable Workfront operating models.
- Stakeholders have confidence in solution direction and architectural decisions.
- Implementations align to business objectives while maintaining platform best practices.
- Governance, workflows, reporting, and resource models are designed for long-term scalability.
- Delivery teams are equipped with clear architectural guidance and implementation direction.
