Job Title- Functional Analyst Finance, Tax &ALM – Enterprise Services
Location- Pune, India
Role Description
The Functional Analyst is responsible for capturing and documenting the full range of requirements, translating these requirements into system specific functional specifications to enable solution development, analysing the impact of changes and supporting the business throughout the implementation process. They are also responsible for the production of business-facing documentation such as Business Requirement document, Design Specification Document, user manuals and solution briefs for L3 request raise by Business for enhancements.

Your key responsibilities
- Is expert contact to determine solutions and establishes relations between Business and Consumers - Product Owners and IT, Interfacing applications and if necessary to other parties
- Evaluates requirements feasibility, Business scenarios and the underlying Business use cases
- Creation of new business solutions, enhancements and manages issues and risks.
- Is responsible for quality assurance of project deliverables
- Prioritizes change requests and functions
- Collaborates with Technical Teams by providing requirement breakdown
- Elaborates on Techno-functional impact of customer requests on ongoing production processes
- Supports Business in creation, validation and documentation for User acceptance test cases.
- Assists other members of the team and aligns their work wherever applicable.
- Maintains stability, quality and timeliness of Mainframe/Java/Big Data based Data Delivery of End of day and Month data
Your skills and experience
General Skills
- Undergraduate Degree from an university with IT or economics major or equivalent diploma / work experience (qualified banker preferable)
- Several years of professional experience in business analysis in the financial services sector
- Techno-funtional skills are preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving experience
- Experience handling of the test procedure model
- Knowledge about the core tools and processes,e.g.HP Lifecycle Management (ALM), Jira, Service Now.
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycles – Waterfall and Agile, is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery.
- Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
- Fluent English language skills.
- German language skills will be an added advantage.
Domain Specific Skills
Desirable are one or more of the following subject areas:
- Continuous customer base management
- Expertise in Finance and Commissions.
- Expertise in the field of banking
Good knowledge of one or more of the following technical platforms and technologies is desirable:
Mainframe/Java/Big Data
People skills:
- Customer and service orientation to support communication with team resources and customers
- Performance and productivity orientation to promote high-quality results
