We are hiring a Team Lead to join an innovative travel tech startup serving the MENA region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, driving delivery, and working in a modern, remote-friendly environment.
Job Purpose
The Team Lead will oversee the technical direction and delivery of key projects, ensuring best practices in software architecture, development, and DevOps are consistently applied.
You will act as the main technical and leadership point of contact for stakeholders, guide the team through agile delivery, and proactively remove blockers to keep projects moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the technical delivery of projects
- Ensure best practices in architecture, development, and code quality
- Coordinate sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and resolve technical and team blockers proactively
- Mentor team members and support their professional growth
- Collaborate closely with the CTO on technical strategy and roadmap

- Agile Methodology: Scrum or Kanban with bi-weekly sprints and regular retrospectives
- Cloud-First: Development, testing, and deployment managed via Azure DevOps
- Security-First: Authentication via Auth0, with strict data protection and compliance standards
- CI/CD: Automated pipelines to ensure high code quality and fast, reliable releases
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Well-documented code and processes, plus regular knowledge-sharing sessions
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Team Lead / Technical Lead role.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong technical background using C#, .NET, and Angular.
- Solid understanding of Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team leadership responsibilities.
