The Financial Lead's objective is to provide financial support for Guardian's Corporate Functions and areas by producing valuable reporting, performing research and analysis. Reporting is to be provided to leadership and stakeholders across the company, providing trends on key financial trends used in decision making.
Candidate Responsibilities
- 6 - 8 Years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Manage the end-to-end financial processes of the Corporate Functions, including (but not limited to) annual budgeting and planning, forecasting, variance analytics and allocations for departmental expenses and headcount.
- Analyze and deliver the 3-year financial plan and alignment to strategic business objectives, market trends and associated projects and initiatives.
- Partner with key stakeholders, business leaders and HR talent leaders by providing valuable insight into their monthly financial results, including projected results for the fiscal year. Convey and articulate financial impact of decisions, while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Maintain staffing data and corresponding financial impacts, in partnership with department stakeholders and Human Resource business partners. Incorporate outer year impacts including staffing changes and business support into 3-year financial plan.
- Partner with Business Finance leadership and sourcing to drive transparency into the financial impact of expenses, and associated unit cost metrics.
- Drive insights and analytics that provide leadership transparency into risks and opportunities of departmental expenses and spending trends, providing recommendations on efficiencies and/or risk mitigation.
- Production and distribution of monthly expense result reports for the Corporate functions. Highlight key insights, trends, risks and variances by performing analysis and research. Provide transparency of results to key stakeholders.
- Analysis of DTAR (departmental transaction analysis reports) each month to facilitate accrual and journal entry booking.
- Data entry into Oracle planning system during Guardian's Plan and Reforecast scenarios.
