Your daily pitch

The Lead FP&A Cycle Analyst is a key player in the Group FP&A Team - someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and brings a true championship mindset to the game. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full FP&A cycle, leading the charge on our strategic 3–5 year planning (a newly built capability), annual planning, and monthly performance cycles. You’ll go head-to-head with the market through strategic benchmarking, ensuring Tipico stays competitive, sharp, and always one step ahead. At the same time, you’ll drive automation across FP&A processes, continuously improving speed, accuracy, and impact.

Working closely with the FP&A Manager and FP&A Director, you’ll be an individual contributor with wide cross-functional exposure - partnering across the business, influencing key decisions, and helping steer the company toward winning outcomes.

Job Description

Your playing field 

  • Lead the strategic 3–5 year cycle - understanding market trends, shaping direction, and driving cross-functional alignment
  • Lead the annual planning cycle - ensuring consistency with strategy, challenging stakeholders, and preparing executive and Board materials
  • Lead the monthly cycle - reporting, analysis, forecasting, and delivering business insights
  • Lead strategic benchmarking of Tipico against industry competitors
  • Support the FP&A Manager in identifying and implementing FP&A development opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and systems

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

 

  • Education. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s, MBA, CFA, or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience. 5+ years in a similar FP&A or finance role, ideally within an online, gaming, or fast-paced industry.
  • Technical Skills. Highly proficient in SQL and Excel, with hands-on experience in financial modelling using advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Stakeholder Management. Strong influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and confidently challenge and align stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mind. You think strategically, dive deep into data, and translate insights into clear, impactful decisions.
  • Communication. Fluent in English, both written and verbal; German is a plus. You communicate clearly, structure your thinking, and adapt your style to different audiences.
