A senior finance leadership role at the core of a global terminal operator

Key Responsibilities
As Lead Financial Controller, you are accountable for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of group financial consolidation and reporting across APM Terminals’ global organisation. You combine deep technical accounting expertise with strong people leadership and a continuous improvement mindset.
Your key responsibilities include:
Leading, developing, and inspiring an international consolidation and financial controlling team
Owning and continuously improving the group consolidation and financial close processes
Ensuring accurate accounting and reporting under IFRS and APMM GAAP, including complex areas such as foreign exchange, leases, provisions, impairments, and business combinations
Acting as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing audit planning, execution, and remediation
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial reporting risks while strengthening internal controls across entities
Sponsoring and driving finance improvement and transformation initiatives at group level
Providing clear, decision‑useful financial insights to senior finance and business stakeholders
Driving consistent reporting standards, governance, and best practices across the organisation
Operating confidently in complex, deadline‑driven reporting environments with high expectations on quality and accuracy
