Job Details
As a Data Science Intern at Alliance Healthcare Management Services (Nederland) BV, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making and innovation within the healthcare sector. You will apply analytical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, supporting various business functions.
Responsibilities:**
* Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large and diverse datasets from various sources.
* Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Support senior data scientists in designing and conducting experiments to validate hypotheses and model performance.
* Visualize and communicate data insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
* Participate in the deployment and monitoring of data science solutions.
* Conduct research on new data science techniques and tools to enhance existing methodologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical problems.
Qualifications:**
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
* Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning fundamentals.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for data science (e.g., Python, R).
* Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
* Familiarity with SQL for data querying and database management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
* A strong interest in the healthcare industry and its data challenges.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
