Broadridge is hiring! As our Lead Financial Analyst you will meet with business and production leaders to drive financial results and guide business decisions by preparing and analyzing internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, expenses, revenues) including forecasts.
You will be working on several key businesses in Broadridge (including the sweet of businesses and products under Broadridge’s Bank Broker Dealer). Additionally, you will aid in the preparation of financial modeling for these businesses during the Strat plan (multi-year view 3-5 years) and the Operating plan.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and communicate monthly financial results:

Understanding of Stock Record Growth (SRG) and the impact of this metric on the business.

Comparison of monthly results to plan, forecast and prior year.
-
Headcount and Labor analysis.
-
Production month end comparison reports.
-
Inter-company revenue and expense tracking including researching through Account Payable details.
-
Building ad-hoc reports for analytic review/variance analysis.
-
Inter-company Cross charge tracking and research to determine impact on businesses.
2. Prepare monthly business metrics and load metrics into systems.
3. Analyze vendor rebates and present forecast adjustments based on new contracts, volume impacts.
4. Ensure sales are accurate, in compliance and recorded on waterfalls for revenue tracking:

Sales to revenue conversion- revenue impact and timing.

Sales validation - review contracts, expected Roll call calculation for audit.

Ability to track these sales monthly and provide updates to the forecast based on closed sales during the month.
5. Analyze external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc…). Additionally, perform financial evaluation and modelling of potential investment opportunities, impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Build ad-hoc reports for analytic review/variance analysis.
2. Work with HR and the Business on new/replacement roles to ensure forecasting is accurate.
3. Help with business dashboards and creating new reports for the business through Anaplan, Power BI, TM1/IBM.

Understanding of Accounting policies and procedures for month end close, ability to reclass line items, research Purchase Order (PO accounts), review Journal Entries, Connect with Billing on client revenue.
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $100,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
