Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B accurately and on time to ensure compliance with GST regulations.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory dues such as TDS, PF, and PT, along with the filing of Quarterly TDS returns.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including prepaid expenses, provisions, cash flow statement preparation, and expense MIS reporting.
- Perform periodic vendor and ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing weekly payment runs, salary disbursements, generating tax invoices, and recording transactions in Zoho Books.
Experience and Qualifications:
- CA Inter with 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books for accounting and financial reporting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
- Candidates who can join immediately are highly preferred.
