In this role, you would support and report to the Finance Manager and partner with Operations Leadership Team at TGTS with the regional Services organization, as well as with the GSC Repairs Value Stream function leaders to help driving and reaching financial and non-financial targets (SQDC).Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the GEV/Local regulatory requirements for tax, treasury and statutory reporting purposes. Prepare reports and manage accurate and timely filing of all regulatory documents. Respond to requests to ensure timely completion of internal/external audit and tax assessments. (direct and indirect monthly and annual tax preparations, payments, reconciliations, and reporting)
Support month end closing. Prepare and record all journal entries
Supervise all accounts reconciled as per GEV criteria
Partner with Treasury and manage local banks related operations. E.g. internal funding/transfer (sell JPY buy USD), prepare fund transfer report to Bank Of Japan.
Provide financial/statutory reporting on all aspects of business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for relevant external stakeholders, i.e.: Tax Office, Central Bank, JV Partner, etc.
Be the first finance point of contact for the local audit activities, i.e. Commercial/Tax/Customs Audit to make sure all data requirements and information are properly provided for smooth audit process and completion.
Lead the financial, budget, forecast and pacing process at TGTS through collaboration with different functions in TGTS and other FP&A related tasks.
Support financial monthly, quarterly and annual with data analytics and ad hoc report preparation if necessary per the standard GSC processes. (Hours Liquidation check. Project Align, etc.)
Provide internal GE financial reporting for TGTS on all aspects of business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to make sure that the reporting is performed timely and accurately to relevant stakeholders.
Support the FM and the Site Ops Teams in the day-to-day performance management and decisions making through monitoring/analyzing the key metrics and KPIs, providing insights for risk and improvement opportunities for TGTS.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Strong oral and written communication skills, in both Japanese and English.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
