We are looking for a contract-focused professional with strong business understanding, regional collaboration capability, and the potential to grow into a broader commercial leadership role. The ideal candidate is structured, proactive, willing to learn, comfortable working across cultures and functions, and able to translate governance requirements into practical business support.
Role Priority: Contract management is the primary focus, with regional MNEA responsibilities to support market-area governance, transformation, and cross-CU collaboration. Commercial capability is expected as a growth area, enabling the candidate to contribute to deal shaping and business decision-making over time.
Role Purpose: The role is responsible for strengthening commercial and contract management excellence across MNEA, with contract governance as the core priority. The position will support end-to-end contract lifecycle activities, contribute to commercial proposal development, and represent the Market Area in process, digitalization, and transformation initiatives. The role also provides flexible backup support to Customer Units when needed and is expected to grow broader commercial competence over time.
Career Level: This is a mid- to senior-level individual contributor role in commercial and contract management. We are looking for someone with solid experience in contract management and regional stakeholder management, combined with strong learning agility and a growth mindset. The role is suitable for high-potential talent who are ready to take on broader commercial responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Management & Governance
- Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management, from opportunity support and proposal review through execution, governance, and closure.
- Provide practical contract guidance, based on company strategy, aligning with BA contract management whenever needed,to sales and delivery teams, ensuring appropriate risk awareness and governance discipline
- Review and support commercial terms and conditions in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Sales, Business Area and Domains stakeholders.
- Drive consistency, standardization, and simplification in contract processes, templates, and ways of working.
- Maintain strong contract documentation, follow-up discipline, and compliance with internal policies and approval frameworks.
2. Regional MNEA Support & Cross-CU Collaboration
- Represent MNEA Commercial & Ops Excellence in selected contract, commercial, and process-related initiatives.
- Support Market Area alignment with Business Area and global functions on contract governance, operating model, and transformation topics.
- Provide backup support to Customer Units when needed, especially on contract review, governance follow-up, and commercial coordination.
- Build strong working relationships across countries, Customer Units, and functions to enable practical execution.
- Contribute to regional consistency while respecting local business needs and customer context.
3. Commercial Contribution & Business Acumen
- Contribute to commercial proposal development by providing contract insight, risk awareness, and business-oriented recommendations.
- Support deal reviews, approval preparation, and risk-return discussions with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop understanding of pricing, financial impact and commercial risk management, enabling the contractual terms contribute in comprehensive business proposals/execution
- Connect contractual positions with business objectives to support balanced and executable commercial decisions.
- Grow broader commercial competence through exposure to regional programs, deal governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
4. Transformation, Process & Digitalization
- Support transformation initiatives in contract management, commercial governance, process standardization, and digitalization.
- Represent Market Area needs and practical business feedback in global or BA-led process and tool initiatives.
- Promote adoption of common ways of working, connected tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Identify improvement opportunities in current workflows and help convert them into practical actions.
- Demonstrate openness to AI, automation, and analytics as enablers for better efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in contract management, commercial operations, project commercial support, legal operations, finance, or related business support functions.
- Solid understanding of contract principles, governance discipline, business risk, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to work across functions such as Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, Sourcing, and Operations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
- Good business acumen and willingness to develop stronger commercial and financial understanding.
- Fluent English communication capability is required. Korean + Japanese will definite be an advantage.
