Job Description SummaryThe Lead Finance Specialist 2 - Accounting Operations will play a critical role in supporting the billing and accounting operations for GE Aerospace's Edison Works division, which is part of the Defense sector. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing processes for the Edison Works division within the Defense sector.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and enterprise standards.
• Utilize technical expertise and analytical thinking to identify and resolve accounting and financial process issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure operational excellence.
• Contribute to projects, processes, and procedures within the accounting operations field.
• Operate with autonomy while adhering to standard functional practices and procedures,
• Communicate effectively with direct colleagues and business partners regarding financial processes and services rendered.
• Build strong relationships across teams and provide insights to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting Operations.
• This role requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.

Work Environment

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
