As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate in Field Performance and Branch Scorecard for the Consumer Bank, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and reconciling financial and business results as well as preparing reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvements. In addition, you will assist Field Finance peers and colleagues across the broader Consumer Bank Finance organization with special projects or components of other projects as needed. Your main deliverable will be the reporting of the monthly branch manager scorecard. You will provide critical financial input and insight into the drivers behind Branch Banking outcomes to the Consumer Branch Banking CFO Business Management partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for field performance financial analysis, reporting and the annual Consumer Branch Banking scorecard and branch manager incentive plan.
- Serve as a partner, advisor and truth teller to Consumer Banking field leadership; aligning branch field reporting, economic profitability, and scorecard to evaluate Consumer Branch Banking strategic priorities
- Collaborate effectively across all CCB field finance organizations, business/segment partners and other key partners (e.g. Compensation, HR, Legal, Controls, Risk)
- Conduct as-needed financial analysis based on senior management requests, develop presentation materials and drive meaningful, effective discussions to facilitate the making of informed decisions
- Support the development and production of field performance reporting packages for Consumer Bank field leadership and Branch Banking divisional business management teams, focused on evaluating financial outcomes and branch and banker behavior trends
- Support the monthly branch scorecard, delivered to 4,500+ branch managers and field leaders.
- Partner closely with the Field Performance Reporting and Insights product team on the development of the annual and ongoing scorecard and field performance reporting product enhancements, influencing the prioritization of the development backlog, and the future transformation of CB field leadership scorecards
- Maintain superior controls and resiliency standards
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Finance, Analytics, Business Management or Product
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, or related field
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics with the ability to create reporting and presentation decks
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets and ability to present conclusions concisely
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers and ability to maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships and ability to build relationships
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Solutions oriented and focused on the big picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
- Ability to influence and communicate complex information and tell a story with data
- Experience with process improvement and automation
