Job Overview:
The developer will be responsible for maintenance of Majesco Insurance Products. This requirement is for Policy product specifically. The developer will be responsible for maintaining data module of these applications which are in Oracle code base.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To support and maintain existing Oracle code base, debug the application
- To design database packages and procedures
- Database scripting and data verifications
- UTP and UT
- Perform Code Review, Performance Tuning
- QC support
- Functional expertise on modules
- Defect tracking
Technical Skills
- Experience with complex data modeling/entity relation modeling and design techniques, database normalization theory, data dictionary techniques, and schema design techniques
- Expertise in SQL: sub-queries, joins, oracle in built functions
- Expertise in PL/SQL: collections, VARRAY, exception handling, cursors, package/ procedure/ function
- Knowledge of Version Control tools e.g., SVN
- Knowledge of Dev Studio will be an advantage
