Senior Lead Engineer
Role Overview:
Software development efforts associated with supporting engineering IoT & Event Hub products (interaction with hardware devices). Individual must have the ability to read and understand system requirements, formulate a software design approach based on those requirements, develop software aligned with defined coding standards & test the software. The selected candidate is expected to have a background in troubleshooting and developing products and will be involved in all aspects of the system software support/development process (concept, design, validation, production, support). There will be frequent interaction with project management both locally and overseas and need to work with customers at global locations across different time zones.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Minimum 8+ years software development/support experience in product-based company required as below:
- Essential Competencies:
- Trouble shooting Azure applications
- Strong technical knowledge of Cloud Computing and .NET
- Expertise in Azure IOT Hub with Event Hubs, REST API and Cloud Services
- Experience with Data Management Components: SQL Azure, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Blobs, Tables
- Hands on experience on Messaging & Integration Components: Storage Queues, Service Bus (Queues, Relay & Topics)
- .NET and ASP.NET MVC Application Development and SQL Server,ReactJS.
- Good debugging skills for troubleshooting production issues
- Desirable Competencies:
- JQuery and UI Design
- Google Protobuf
- Other Competencies:
- Strong English communication skills - oral and written
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
- Go getter, result-driven, and works independently with minimal supervision
- Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
