The Role: As a Systems Engineer on the Digital Manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in advancing our Industry 4.0 roadmap across connected manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for candidates with strong Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) expertise and deep process knowledge who can translate shop-floor requirements into scalable digital solutions. You will lead the deployment, optimization, and lifecycle support of MES and adjacent manufacturing applications, enabling real-time visibility, process standardization, data integrity, and operational excellence across global sites. デジタルマニュファクチャリングチームのシステムエンジニアとして、接続された製造オペレーション全体における当社のIndustry 4.0ロードマップの推進において、重要な役割を担っていただきます。本ポジションは、製造実行システム（MES）に関する高い専門性と深いプロセス知識を持ち、現場の要件をスケーラブルなデジタルソリューションへと落とし込める方に最適です。 また、MESおよび関連する製造アプリケーションの導入、最適化、ライフサイクルサポートをリードし、グローバル拠点におけるリアルタイムの可視化、プロセス標準化、データの整合性確保、そしてオペレーショナルエクセレンスの実現を推進していただきます。 In this role you will: •Lead Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives that improve throughput, quality, traceability, and compliance through effective use of MES and connected digital systems. •Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and automation teams to translate process requirements into MES designs, workflows, electronic records, and system configurations. •Serve as the technical lead for MES deployment, enhancement, and support, ensuring alignment with Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) strategy and enterprise architecture standards. •Drive OT/IT integration across MES, ERP, LIMS, SPC, historians, and automation platforms to enable connected factory capabilities and trusted manufacturing data flows. •Own complex incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities for MES and related production systems in a high-availability manufacturing environment. •Define and govern system configuration, master data, process modeling, and deployment standards to support scalable, repeatable implementations across sites. •Lead validation, change control, user acceptance testing, and release readiness activities for manufacturing systems operating in regulated environments. •Use manufacturing process knowledge to identify digitization opportunities, eliminate manual workarounds, and improve execution reliability, right-first-time performance, and data-driven decision-making. •Coach cross-functional teams and site stakeholders on digital best practices, standard work, and digital manufacturing adoption to accelerate value realization. •Own the MES roadmap at the site, including deployments, maintenance, scalability, and continuous improvement. •Drive the success of MES at the site, including capturing business value and regularly reporting the same to management. •MESおよび接続されたデジタルシステムを効果的に活用し、スループット、品質、トレーサビリティ、コンプライアンスを向上させるためのIndustry 4.0およびスマートマニュファクチャリング施策を主導する。 •製造、品質、エンジニアリング、自動化チームと連携し、プロセス要件をMES設計、ワークフロー、電子記録、システム設定へと落とし込む。 •MESの導入、機能拡張、サポートにおける技術リードとして業務を推進し、MOM（Manufacturing Operations Management）戦略および全社アーキテクチャ標準との整合性を確保する。 •MES、ERP、LIMS、SPC、ヒストリアン、オートメーションプラットフォーム間のOT/IT統合を推進し、コネクテッドファクトリーと信頼性の高いデータフローを実現する。 •高可用性が求められる製造環境において、MESおよび関連生産システムの複雑なインシデント対応、根本原因分析、継続的改善を主導する。 •複数拠点でのスケーラブルかつ再現性のある展開を支えるため、システム設定、マスターデータ、プロセスモデリング、導入標準の定義および統制を行う。 •規制対象環境における製造システムについて、バリデーション、変更管理、ユーザー受入テスト、リリース準備を主導する。 •製造プロセスの知識を活用し、デジタル化の機会を特定し、手作業の回避策を排除し、実行の信頼性や初回合格率（Right First Time）、データに基づく意思決定を向上させる。 •クロスファンクショナルチームや各拠点の関係者に対し、デジタルのベストプラクティスや標準作業、デジタル製造の活用について指導し、価値創出を加速する。 •拠点におけるMESロードマップ（導入、保守、拡張性、継続的改善を含む）の策定および責任を担う。 •拠点におけるMESの成功を推進し、ビジネス価値の創出を可視化し、定期的に経営層へ報告する。 Traits we believe make a strong candidate: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree or relevant MES/MOM certifications preferred. •8+ years of experience delivering, supporting, or optimizing MOM solutions within a manufacturing environment, preferably in 24/7 facilities •Strong domain expertise in manufacturing processes, batch or discrete operations, recipe/workflow execution, electronic records, genealogy, traceability, and exception management. •Demonstrated success delivering Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or smart factory initiatives, including system integration across MES, ERP, LIMS, SPC, historians, and automation layers. •Working knowledge of ISA-95, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), OT/IT convergence, and best practices for scalable manufacturing system architecture. •Experience with process mapping, requirements elicitation, solution design, and cross-functional delivery in 24/7 production environments. •Proven expertise in validation, change control, deviation/root cause investigation, and documentation practices in regulated manufacturing settings. •Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical teams, site leaders, and business partners. •Hands-on experience with platforms such as Critical Manufacturing, Camline, Ignition, LabWare, or comparable MES and manufacturing application ecosystems is strongly preferred. •Familiarity with automation and controls technologies such as Rockwell, Siemens, GE, or Keyence is a plus. •Strong exposure to working with and leading cross-cultural teams •Proven experience in a MES Lead role •工学、コンピュータサイエンス、情報システム、または関連する技術分野の学士号（修士号やMES／MOM関連の認定資格があれば尚可） •製造環境（できれば24時間365日稼働の施設）における、MOMソリューションの導入・サポート・最適化の8年以上の経験 •製造プロセス（バッチ／ディスクリート生産）、レシピ／ワークフロー実行、電子記録、系譜（ジェネアロジー）、トレーサビリティ、例外管理に関する深い専門知識 •MES、ERP、LIMS、SPC、ヒストリアン、オートメーション層とのシステム統合を含む、Industry 4.0／デジタルマニュファクチャリング／スマートファクトリー施策の実行経験と実績 •ISA-95、MOM（Manufacturing Operations Management）、OT/IT融合、およびスケーラブルな製造システムアーキテクチャのベストプラクティスに関する実務知識 •プロセスマッピング、要件定義、ソリューション設計、および24/7生産環境におけるクロスファンクショナルな導入推進の経験 •規制対象の製造環境における、バリデーション、変更管理、逸脱／根本原因分析、ドキュメント管理に関する実証された専門性 •高い分析力、ステークホルダーマネジメント能力、コミュニケーション能力を有し、技術チーム、拠点リーダー、ビジネスパートナーに影響力を発揮できる方 •Critical Manufacturing、Camline、Ignition、LabWare、または同等のMES／製造アプリケーション基盤に関する実務経験があれば尚可（特に歓迎） •Rockwell、Siemens、GE、Keyenceなどの自動化・制御技術に関する知識があれば尚可 •多文化・多国籍チームとの協働およびリード経験 •  MESリード（主導的立場）としての実務経験 Your success will be measured by: •People and Teamwork - able to work with team closely to achieve company goal and objective. •Dedication to Excellence - perform integration and testing for independently with less supervisory •Creativity and Innovation – provide or support users to solve software issues such as missing data or incorrect data in SPC database and drive for improvement.
