General Responsibilities
Design and understand all software and hardware systems to work towards new design development.
Familiarity with analog & digital circuits
Ensuring and testing that all functions are working correctly.
Handles the troubleshooting for software and hardware functions.
Identifies and problem solving on any issues that may occur during the scope of the process.
Creating and updating documents to ensure the understanding of any procedures.
Collaborating with other groups of engineers and stakeholders to ensure successful design and implementation.
Maintains and complies with regulations and procedures.
Translate customer application and system requirements into functional software design requirements and solve challenging problems through software development.
Analyses the existing software and improving the processes.
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for Automotive RADAR applications
- Provide Technical Leadership in working with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real world performance issues
- Complete assigned individual and team tasks
- Support advanced development process activities (analysis, design, reviews, verification testing)
- Liaising with customers and internal departments in support of project activities.
- Working according to all agreed team procedures, including ASPICE and Agile/Scrum methods
Essential Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on programming experience in C/C++ /Python for embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of ISO21434 road vehicle cybersecurity engineering
- Experience implementing device security using a HSM (Hardware Security Module) in an embedded system.
- Experience managing security and keys throughout the product life-cycle.
- Experience of Software configuration using Vector tool chain
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with good understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools
- Good understanding of RTOS concepts, task scheduling, and inter-process communication
Desirable Skill:
- Experience working with Radar or Lidar Products
- Familiarity with NXP Racerunner Microcontrollers
- Proven ability to document implemented module
