Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable as the Control Accountant Managers for project elements delegated by the Engineering Project Manager.
- Accountable to lead day-to-day activities for Individual Contributors, both technical and operational.
- Responsible to work alongside the team to author and implement embedded software solutions.
- Accountable to develop a good working relationship with the customer, Engineering Project Manager and other project and engineering leadership.
- Accountable to understand the technical scope, cost and schedule for the project.
- Accountable to plan, forecast, coordinate, monitor and lead the software effort / team for the full SW development lifecycle of the project assigned area.
- Accountable to provide software team oversight to ensure delivery of a quality artifact / product.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor team progress towards deliverables, remove roadblocks and drive accountability and ownership of individual and team commitments.
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks and scope creep associated with the software effort for the project.
- If applicable, identify supplier scope of work and manage schedule.
- Work with product stakeholders to understand MGPP and MGTP and communicate needs and status.
- Continuous demonstration of the GE Leadership Behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar from an accredited university
- At least 4 years of experience in embedded software development.
