KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose

The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating all electrical engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring that designs and deliverables comply with ADNOC Offshore standards, project specifications, international codes, safety requirements, budget, and schedule commitments.

The role provides technical leadership during FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up phases for offshore platforms, substations, process facilities, pipelines, and brownfield modifications.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Engineering Leadership

  • Lead a team of electrical engineers and designers for offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate all electrical engineering activities.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of electrical engineering deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project electrical personnel.
  • Review and approve engineering calculations, designs, and technical documents.

Design & Engineering Activities

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Minimum 5–8 years as a Lead Electrical Engineer on offshore EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Proven ADNOC Offshore or major Middle East offshore project experience preferred.
  • Experience in both greenfield and brownfield offshore projects.
