Job Description

The Lead Designer – Brand & Creative is responsible for elevating the quality, consistency, and impact of Everest’s visual communications across all channels. Working closely with the Global Creative Director, this role combines strategic creative thinking with hands-on execution to bring Everest’s evolving brand to life across campaigns, digital experiences, video, events, and internal communications.

The ideal candidate is a senior creative with expertise in brand systems, campaign development, and integrated design execution, capable of translating business objectives into compelling visual storytelling that strengthens Everest’s brand presence in the market.

This is a hybrid position in either our Warren, NJ or New York City office working 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Execution

  • Design and deliver high-impact creative across digital, print, video, presentations, events, and integrated marketing channels.

  • Demonstrate senior-level creative capability across brand systems, campaigns, and multi-channel execution.

  • Translate business objectives into compelling visual concepts and storytelling.

  • Develop creative assets that support marketing campaigns, executive communications, thought leadership, and internal communications.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.

Brand Stewardship

  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines and visual systems.

  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all creative outputs.

  • Develop scalable templates, frameworks, and creative assets that support the organization.

  • Help elevate the overall visual expression of the Everest brand across all touchpoints.

Digital & Campaign Design

  • Support website and digital initiatives, including web design and UX considerations.

  • Design responsive, digital-first experiences that support engagement and business objectives.

  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to develop integrated campaign creative across channels.

Creative Innovation

  • Contribute to campaign concepting and creative ideation.

  • Support the development of video, motion graphics, presentations, and multimedia content.

  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve creative workflows and efficiency.

Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, communications, and business stakeholders to deliver creative solutions aligned to strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in graphic design, brand design, or creative roles.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand systems, campaign development, and multi-channel design.

  • Experience designing across digital platforms, including web, social media, video, and presentations.

  • Strong understanding of visual identity systems and brand application across channels.

  • Working knowledge of UX principles and digital design best practices.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; motion graphics and video experience preferred

  • Ability to translate complex business objectives into compelling visual storytelling.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to design quality and brand consistency.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $155,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
