What You’ll Do
Lead responsibilities include coordinating the work and activities of others: resolving escalated issues, measuring and monitoring capacity, and coordinating workflow, assigning tasks and orders, and providing training. May provide input to hiring decisions and performance management process.
Performs title examination of complex title orders requiring a high level of title expertise, primarily for commercial properties
Abstracts and analyzes records, such as leases, subleases, acreage, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plot and map books. Determines ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records for examinations, including multi-site properties.
Writes title products based on the application of procedural guidelines, requiring interpretation
Provides underwriting interpretation within established guidelines
Typically has customer contact
May have expertise in commercial/industrial transactions
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
At least 5 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments.
Understand relevant legal and real estate terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet, property data platforms and the ability to learn company systems.
Excel at analyzing complex information and solving problems independently.
Highly organized and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven, and paperless environment.
Clear and professional communication with a customer service mindset.

Pay Range: $35.53 - $47.36 Hourly, RemoteThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
