Job Description:

DTN is seeking a Senior Commercial Operations Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader supporting our go-to-market organization. This role bridges strategy and execution across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Customer Experience, helping drive predictable and scalable revenue growth through operational excellence, process optimization, and data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial operations expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and experience leading cross-functional initiatives that improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and GTM process effectiveness.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Own forecasting and pipeline management processes to improve accuracy, predictability, and alignment with commercial objectives
  • Lead pipeline inspections and deal reviews, establishing qualification criteria, cadence, and escalation paths
  • Analyze revenue trends, conversion metrics, and forecasting indicators to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements
  • Design, optimize, and scale GTM processes spanning opportunity management, quoting, contracting, billing, and renewals
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting standards for commercial leadership
  • Partner with Analytics, Data Governance, and cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy
  • Translate business needs into requirements, workflows, and operational action plans across systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, Billing, and ERP platforms
  • Lead operational initiatives related to process automation, systems implementation, sales enablement, and governance
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership by delivering actionable insights, recommendations, and business cases
  • Support annual planning cycles, budgeting, strategic prioritization, and territory or quota design initiatives

What You Will Bring to the Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field
  • Experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, sales operations, business analysis, or related functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in forecasting, KPI development, and commercial data analysis
  • Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce, CPQ, Nue.io, Power BI, and Excel
  • Experience translating business requirements into process documentation, workflows, and operational plans
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Experience with lead-to-cash processes including opportunity management, quoting, contracting, and billing

Compensation
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $105,000 and $139,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
