We're looking for a Lead CMS Business Analyst to help guide enterprise-scale headless CMS implementations and digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you'll partner with stakeholders, designers, architects, and developers to deliver impactful web experiences that drive business value.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, influence solution design, and help organizations get the most from modern content platforms.

What You'll DoPartner with Clients and Stakeholders
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement-gathering activities
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and project teams
  • Help define business goals, priorities, and success metrics
  • Guide user acceptance testing and gather feedback throughout delivery
  • Bring structure and clarity to complex business challenges
Lead Requirements and Solution Definition
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation
  • Develop content models, workflows, and information architecture recommendations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into implementable solutions
  • Support roadmap planning and prioritization activities
Drive Successful Project Delivery
  • Manage and refine product backlogs
  • Participate in sprint planning and Agile delivery activities
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across business and technical teams
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities early in the process
  • Help ensure solutions meet business objectives and user needs
Collaborate Across Disciplines
  • Work closely with strategy, experience design, engineering, and product teams
  • Support training and adoption efforts for new CMS capabilities
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across projects and teams
What You BringRequired Experience
  • Experience supporting digital, web, or content platform initiatives in a client-facing environment
  • Hands-on experience with modern headless CMS platforms such as:
    • Contentful
    • Sitecore
    • Sanity
    • Strapi
    • Prismic
    • Storyblok
    • Or similar platforms
  • Experience with headless and API-first content architectures
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager roles supporting digital initiatives
  • Content modeling and information architecture experience
  • Experience working with integrations, APIs, marketing technology, or commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Next.js, or Vue and how they connect to CMS platforms

  • Jira and Confluence (or similar platforms)
  • Figma and design collaboration tools
  • Miro, Lucid, or process mapping tools
  • CMS and digital experience platforms

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

 

The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 - $110,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
