F&G is looking to hire for a Lead Business Systems Analyst
The Lead Business Systems Analyst will lead/facilitate business requirements gathering and determine potential technical impact. This role will lead requirements and/or data solution sessions with business subject matter experts to analyze, validate, and utilize data for consumption by business stakeholders. This role will mentor and coach others on an informal basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead/facilitate business requirements gathering and determine potential technical impact
· Conduct meetings with project stakeholders in the elicitation and documentation and the prioritization of requirements, leveraging various techniques
· Lead requirements and/or data solution sessions with business subject matter experts to analyze, validate, and utilize data for consumption by business stakeholders
· Manage the change of requirements for complex or multi-threaded projects throughout the project lifecycle using company requirements management frameworks and ensures standards are met
· Provide clarification of requirements to developers and project team members through the use
· Function as a subject matter expert in supporting applications, interfaces and products used by the business
· Provide input into the maturation of the requirements management process, tools, and practices and recommend changes to improve business processes systems support
· Conduct unit and system testing as required
· Coordinates with QA testers to development of test strategies and plans
· Identify, develop and deliver training needed for implementation and ongoing knowledge needs
· Lead team through complex projects, accountable for delivery
· Lead, support and interact with various IT teams and LOBs on integration efforts
· Translate undefined business problems and defined business objectives and goals into functional solutions
· Mentor and coach others on an informal basis
Experience and Education Requirements
· 8-9 years of experience in Solutions Analysis or Business Systems Analysis
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 4+ years of experience with SQL
· Proficient in requirements gathering methodologies and the SDLC
· Experience with business requirements and business process analysis to ensure IT solutions meet the business's needs
· Understanding of APIs
· Experience conducting interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, job shadowing workflow storyboards, use cases, and current to future state gap analysis
· Experience using process models, specifications, diagrams and charts
Preferred Requirements
· Product Owner or ScrumMaster certification
· CBAP certification
· ACAP or CAP certification
· Prior leadership experience
