Position Purpose: Identify, facilitate and lead enterprise wide, complex process improvement programs focused in claims, utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies to design and improve processes that deliver business strategies and performance objectives.
- Identify, develop, and execute process improvement programs utilizing continuous improvement principles and LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies
- Leads large scale, cross-functional initiatives that are intended to drive performance improvement, claims optimization, and enhance internal/external customer experience
- Performs detailed analysis of data, workflows, policies, procedures, organization of staff, skills and offer potential solutions to existing process opportunities
- Collaborate with other business units as needed for facilitation, analysis, process mapping, brain-storming, and project management issues
- Prioritize and lead complex process improvement programs across the enterprise in support of all departments and functional areas
- Drive process improvement projects and facilitate cross functional process improvement project teams ensuring deadlines and objectives are met
- Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide key performance indicators and project status
- Create KPI (key performance indicator) dashboards enabling process performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with business customers to monitor process performance as improvements are implemented ensuring return on investment is realized
- Identify, communicate, and correct gaps in process performance and provide guidance to address these gaps
- Evaluate completed process improvement projects to identify and implement best practices and lessons learned
- Consult with senior leadership and provide analysis and advice on a variety of performance and process related topics
- Research and implement industry organizational change management best practices
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. MBA or MHA preferred. Healthcare industry experience required. 7+ years of LEAN, Six Sigma or related process improvement experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design, statistical applications and project management software.
License/Certification:
LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt or greater certification preferred.
This position is 100% remote with preferred location of California.
Pay Range: $103,500.00 - $191,600.00 per year
