Summary:
King's Hawaiian is seeking a full-time Warehouse Receiver and Purchasing agent for our Harbor Gate Commissary. The Warehouse Receiver and Purchasing agent will be responsible for restocking and replenishing areas assigned.
In addition, the Warehouse Receiver and Purchasing agent will keep a clean, safe work area free from excess debris on floors, racks, and dock areas; complete all steps necessary to locate products / inventory to be subsequently pulled for order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience working in a similar position that includes warehouse duties. This position requires the physical ability to lift boxes or product with a maximum weight less than 50 pounds as well as be on feet majority of the day, bend, knee, and push and pull product.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and accountable for all receiving operations including, deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems
  • Receive product from vendors, ensuring physical count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match
  • Provide direction, support, and ongoing feedback to Commissary staff
  • Utilizes company tools to identify wins and opportunities in inventory management and receiving processes
  • Communicate with Senior Managers on receiving or inventory needs
  • Ensure the team works in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as directed by Senior Management

Job Requirements:

  • Receive shipments, verify quantities on Purchase Order match invoice and Bill of Lading
  • Ensure products received are high quality and meet Company standards
  • Sort stock for distribution into the Commissary and Warehouse
  • Complete receiving documents as each shipment is received.
  • Keep record of invoices sent and received
  • Fill orders by taking items from the Warehouse and prepare them for delivery to Bakers
  • Monitor shelves and ingredient containers and ensure they are back-filled daily
  • Confirm back stock items are coordinated with Commissary volume usage
  • Submit accurate Purchase Requisition for items purchased in a timely manner
  • Contact supplier and resolve any shipping issues
  • Occasionally may be required to work in a cold refrigerated area kept at 35 degrees


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift / electric pallet jack required
  • Previous experience with SAP/ FlexiBake (+plus)
  • Experience with Purchase Orders
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience with a stand-up forklift is a PLUS


Language Skills:
Ability to reach and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, job aids, and procedure manuals written in English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Demands:
Required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, fell, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Requires use of small portable equipment, and manual tools. Standing forklift/ electric pallet jack operation is required.
Work Environment:
This position is scheduled on a shift basis. May also be scheduled to work all shifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and PIT.

Compensation: $25.24 - $37.26 an hour
