Why is this role important to us: 

At SimCorp, we facilitate the streamlining of investments, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.  

In the role of Senior Business Consultant specializing in IBOR (Investment Book Of Records), your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects.  

You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your specialized knowledge in the IBOR area, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream

You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectively monitor, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed. 

What you will be responsible for 

• Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects: You know the customers‘ requirements and processes related to Investment Operations at banks, asset managers and insurers and outline solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension® 
• Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success 
• Gain understanding of Simcorp’s Global Standard Solutions and utilize them for project delivery
• Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension® 
• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job 
• Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects 
• Engage in knowledge sharing with colleagues globally

As our candidate, you have:

• Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms
• Proficient knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting
• Consulting or Professional Services experience within the Asset Management sector
• You had an implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software
• Individuals applying for positions in Asset Management should have between 3 and 5 years of experience interacting with the investment operations function and associated enterprise applications
• Consultants should have experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving IBOR functions on the buy side, and practical experience with applications similar to Simcorp Dimension
• Experience with Trade processing, including confirmation and trade settlement processes and solutions
• Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences
• Organised individual with a goal-oriented approach
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time
• Possess effective communication skills and proficiency in English and Swedish or Norwegian
• Ability to travel to client’s site when needed
• Can attend the SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy.
