Lead Business Analyst

JM Family Enterprises is seeking a Lead Business Analyst who will help oversee the implementation of projects, drive support initiatives, and be part of an agile-driven team, focusing on various technologies used in 12 - 15 Corporate departments.  These departments cover diverse industries and subject domains delivering value to our associates and other JM Family business functions.  You should be a creative and self-motivated personality with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to support the implementation of efforts and the continuous improvement of the processes that support our business partners.

This position is based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and requires hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough comprehension of the business needs and priorities by fostering trusting relationships, appreciating business context, and learning their industry domains

• Build and maintain exceptional relationships with corporate stakeholders, IT partners, and vendors

• Document, study, and understand user requirements and stories, business processes, non-functional requirements, system capabilities, customization, integrations, process design, and system implementations

• Perform requirements gathering and clarifications using agile techniques, collaborating closely with technical teams

• Ensure smooth implementations by working closely with partners and internal staff

• Be accountable for properly following all IT standards, processes, and methodologies as applicable including but not limited to Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), SAFe agile, ServiceNow, and Information Security processes

• Function as a subject matter expert for application design, feature optimization, scalability, user experience, visualization, and data integrity

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in project or product teams, using agile and traditional methodologies.

• Experience with end-to-end implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover & reporting

• Experience in participating in functional design, configuration, and process alignment with a detailed understanding of systems and solutions

• Experience with software and systems development life cycle

• Should be able to do both Business Analysis and Data Analysis as needed on projects and product teams

• Should be able to research platforms and industries

• Ability to produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and working knowledge of QA processes

• Ability to provide analysis on process improvement

• Ability to produce SOP documents and be a change agent in getting those produced and adopted by Business and IT Users

• Lead the triage of Issue resolution and communicate effectively with both Business and IT teams

• Strong Citizen IT skills with the use of Azure Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)

• BS/BA/MBA Degree

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills along with great presentation skills

• Must be a fast learner with the ability to context switch and navigate across tasks and stakeholders

• Effective listener and good analytical skills

• Good at time management and adapting quickly to changing priorities

• Must be able to work on-site in Deerfield Beach, FL a minimum of 3 days a week

• Be willing to participate in On-call rotation and perform validation of applications
