Title and Summary
Lead Business Analyst
Overview
The Revenue Operations & Enablement team is looking for a Lead Business Analyst to support key systems such as Contra Revenue Systems (CRS) and FundApp, Mastercard's Fund Administration platform. This role will operate as the connective tissue between Finance stakeholders and Technology, using a Revenue platform operating model focused on structured intake, clear requirements, prioritization, release readiness, UAT coordination, production support, issue triage, documentation, reporting oversight, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, analytical, comfortable working across business and technical teams, and able to bring structure to a growing platform support model. The role requires strong project management discipline, application support experience, consulting mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly while independently managing priorities across multiple projects and support efforts.
Role
In this position, you will:• Serve as the primary Lead BA and platform liaison for FundApp and CRS, connecting Finance and Technology stakeholders to ensure clear ownership, requirements, priorities, and delivery outcomes.• Manage system enhancements, projects, strategy inputs, setup/configuration needs, application support, and related operational support activities.• Translate business needs into clear business requirements, technical requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, reporting needs, and decision documentation that Technology can design, build, test, and support.• Partner with key business users to provide application overviews, explain new functionality, assess automation opportunities, and support user training or adoption needs.• Collaborate with internal technical teams to facilitate and test issue resolution, confirm expected system behavior, and align business requirements with technical delivery plans.• Provide ongoing production support, including problem management, root cause analysis, ticket logging, business impact communication, status updates, and escalation as needed.• Lead evaluation efforts for new capabilities, process improvements, workflow changes, or related functionality based on business requirements and governance priorities.• Coordinate UAT, regression testing, business validation, release communications, patching/upgrades/enhancement testing, and post-implementation checks to ensure system updates perform as intended.• Ensure configuration documentation, process documentation, training guides, decision logs, and support materials are updated as application changes or new functionality are introduced.• Support SOX and audit compliance by helping maintain control documentation, supporting control testing, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring platform changes align to accounting policy, controls, and reporting expectations.• Drive continuous improvement by identifying manual work, data quality gaps, reporting limitations, control risks, user training needs, and opportunities to simplify the system support model as adoption and platform complexity grow.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:• Have advanced business analysis experience supporting enterprise business platforms, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Fund Administration, billing, order-to-cash, rebates/incentives, or related operational systems.• Hold a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.• Understand general accounting practices, financial controls, reporting processes, and multi-currency business environments.• Be skilled at bridging business and Technology teams, translating complex operational needs into simple, actionable requirements, and keeping both sides aligned through design, testing, release, and support.• Understand platform governance disciplines, including intake management, backlog prioritization, issue triage, release planning, UAT coordination, documentation, control readiness, and operational reporting.• Be comfortable working with Finance stakeholders on forecasting, spend tracking, actuals, accruals, reporting, reconciliations, fund controls, audit support, and executive governance needs.• Demonstrate strong project management discipline, including prioritization, follow-through, issue/risk tracking, status communication, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.• Communicate clearly and confidently with global stakeholders, including the ability to lead working sessions, ask structured questions, explain technical issues in business language, and create concise decision-ready materials.• Quickly engage and influence business partners, drive change constructively, and build strong relationships within a multinational organization.• Demonstrate strong ownership, curiosity, judgment, and follow-through; proactively identify gaps, clarify ambiguity, escalate risks appropriately, and help create a scalable operating model rather than only solving one-off issues.
Preferred Requirements• Coupa and/or Oracle knowledge, particularly where fund administration, procurement, purchase order, invoice, general ledger, reporting, or downstream finance processes intersect.• Experience with Revenue platforms, Rebates & Incentives, billing systems, order-to-cash processes, or other financial applications that require disciplined intake, release, testing, production support, and control oversight.• Experience with Salesforce, Hyperion, Power BI, Jira, Remedy, SharePoint, Confluence, or similar enterprise workflow, reporting, collaboration, and support tools.• Familiarity with financial controls, audit/SOX readiness, reporting standardization, data quality, and cross-functional operating models.• Experience supporting global teams and stakeholders across time zones, including Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Controllership partners.• Ability to build lightweight governance artifacts such as RACIs, intake models, release checklists, issue logs, decision trees, status reports, training guides, configuration documentation, and stakeholder communication plans.
